Brilliance 50% Peel with Kojic Acid (pH 2.00)

Professional In-Office Peel Protocol

This in-office peel treatment is designed to even out skin tone, reduce discoloration, and initiate a complete skin rejuvenation process. The Brilliance 50% Peel may be combined with a mild facial treatment to offer a comprehensive skincare procedure.

Formulated with a combination of Glycolic, Lactic, Pyruvic, and Kojic acids, this peel effectively inhibits melanin production and diminishes hyperpigmentation.

Treatment Protocol

  1. Consultation & Patch Test
    Review the client's skin type, age, and history of product usage. A patch test is required to check for skin sensitivity before proceeding.

  2. Cleanse & Exfoliate

    • Cleanse the face with Tea Tree Cleanser, rinse with water, and pat dry.

    • Exfoliate using Nova Exfoliating Scrub mixed with Brilliance 7.5% Exfoliant. Rinse thoroughly and remove all residue.

  3. Degrease the Skin
    Apply the Pre-Peel Solution using gauze to degrease (defat) the skin and ensure even penetration of the peel.

  4. Apply Peel Solution

    • Pour 1–2 ml of Brilliance 50% Peel onto a gauze pad or fan brush.

    • Apply evenly to the face, neck, and décolletage.

    • Avoid the eye area, lips, and inside the nostrils.

    • Apply petroleum jelly to any areas where the acid should be avoided.

  5. Timing

    • Leave the peel on for 1 minute during the first session.

    • In future sessions, this may be increased to 2 minutes based on the client's tolerance.

  6. Neutralize
    After the appropriate time has elapsed, neutralize the peel using Neutrapeel Solution to stop the peel activity.

  7. Tone
    Apply Green Tea Nutri-Toner to rebalance the skin’s pH.

  8. Treatment Serum
    Apply a targeted serum based on client needs:

    • Brilliance Serum for melasma or pigmentation.

    • Sensi Skin Gel for sensitive skin.

  9. Soothing Mask
    Apply a Brilliance Peel-Off Mask to calm redness and irritation. Leave on for 15 minutes, then remove.

  10. Moisturize
    Apply Luminous Cream to hydrate and support the skin’s healing process.

  11. Sun Protection
    Finish with Anti-Aging Cream SPF 30 to provide UVA/UVB protection.

    Sun protection is critical after any peel or exfoliation treatment.
    Offer the Anti-Aging SPF 30 Cream (1.7 oz) for retail purchase.

Maintenance & Follow-Up

  • For optimal results, repeat the peel once a week for 6 to 8 consecutive weeks.

  • Recommend home care products:

    • Brilliance 7.5% Exfoliant

    • Brilliance Serum
