Lactic 40% Peel with Kojic Acid

In-Cabin Professional Peel Treatment Protocol

This in-cabin peel treatment is formulated to address uneven skin tone, discoloration, and initiate a comprehensive skin rejuvenation process. Lactic 40% Peel with Kojic Acid combines the exfoliating power of lactic acid with the brightening benefits of kojic acid to inhibit melanin production and reduce hyperpigmentation.

Treatment Protocol

  1. Client Consultation
Analyze the client’s skin type and complete a medical and cosmetic history form, including:

    • Age

    • Products currently used

    • Previous treatments

    • Medications

    • Allergies

  2. Sensitivity Test (Patch Test)
Perform a patch test to determine skin sensitivity or allergies.

Ideally performed one week prior to treatment.

  3. Cleanse the Skin

    • Cleanse with Tea Tree Cleanser.

    • Rinse thoroughly and gently pat dry using a disposable tissue.

  4. Degreasing Step
Apply the Pre-Peel Solution to lower the pH and remove excess oil from the skin.

  5. Protect Sensitive Areas
Apply Vaseline to areas where the acid should not penetrate, such as:

    • Eyebrows (especially with semi-permanent makeup)

    • Nostrils

    • Lips

    • Hyper-sensitive areas

  6. Peel Application

    • Pour 1–2 ml (cc) of Lactic 40% Peel into a glass container.

    • Using a fan brush, gauze, or cotton swab, apply evenly to the treatment area.

Avoid the eye area, lips, and inside the nostrils.

  7. Timing Guidelines

    • For the first 2–3 sessions, leave the peel on for 1 minute.

    • For subsequent sessions, increase to 2 minutes if the client tolerates it well.

    • If the client experiences itching, gently rub the affected area with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of acid.

Do not fan the face, as it may cause premature drying of the acid.

  8. Neutralize and Remove

    • After the desired time, neutralize and deactivate the peel using Neutrapeel Solution.

    • If needed, rinse with cold water to soothe the skin.

  9. Tone the Skin
Apply a Sensitive Toner to restore the skin's natural pH balance.

  10. Apply Serums

  • Use Hydra Serum to soothe and hydrate the skin.

  • Apply Eye Contour Serum around the eye area.

  1. Soothing Mask

  • Apply a Hydroplastic Mask, Collagen Mask, or Sea Algae Peel-Off Mask to:

    • Reduce redness, irritation, or itching

    • Create occlusion for deeper serum penetration

  • Leave on for 12 to 15 minutes, then gently remove.

  1. Hydrate and Seal

  • Apply Hydra Cream to soothe and lock in moisture.

  • Use Eye Contour Cream around the eyes.

  1. Sun Protection
Finish with Anti-Aging Cream SPF 30 to protect the skin from UV exposure.

Skin is more sensitive to sunlight after exfoliation and peel treatments.

  1. Repeat Sessions
Treatments may be repeated every 7–8 days, provided the client has recovered well and responded positively to the previous session.

  2. Home Care
Recommend and sell the Hydration Home Use Kit for continued skincare maintenance between professional treatments.
