This in-office peel treatment is designed to even out skin tone, reduce discoloration, and jump-start the skin’s natural rejuvenation process. The Mandelic 25% Peel may be combined with a mild facial for a comprehensive full-service procedure.
This peel uses buffered Mandelic Acid, a gentle Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) known for its versatility and mild exfoliating action, making it ideal for sensitive or acne-prone skin.
Indications for Mandelic Acid:
Improves dry and dehydrated skin
Reduces sun and environmental damage
Diminishes age spots and uneven pigmentation
Minimizes fine lines and wrinkles
Suitable for acneic skin when salicylic acid is contraindicated
Treatment Protocol:
Client Consultation & Patch Test
Review the client's skin type, age, history of product usage, medications, and allergies.
Perform a patch test to assess sensitivity before proceeding.
Cleanse & Exfoliate
Cleanse the face with Green Tea Cleanser, rinse, and pat dry.
If skin is sensitive, skip the exfoliation step.
If not sensitive, exfoliate with Exfoliating Scrub mixed with Mandelic 10% Exfoliant, then rinse thoroughly.
Degreasing Step Apply Pre-Peel Solution with gauze to degrease the skin and enhance peel penetration.
Peel Application
Pour 1–2 ml of Mandelic 25% Peel onto a gauze pad or use a fan brush for application.
Apply evenly to the face, neck, and décolletage.
Avoid the eyes, lips, and inside the nostrils. Apply Vaseline to areas that should be protected from the acid (e.g., nostrils, lips, hyper-sensitive zones).
Timing Guidelines
Leave the peel on for 1 minute during the first session.
In later sessions, you may increase to 2 minutes if the client tolerates it well.
Neutralize the Peel Use Neutrapeel Solution to deactivate and neutralize the acid.
Tone the Skin Apply Sensitive Toner to reestablish the skin's natural pH.
Apply Treatment Serum Use a serum appropriate for the client's skin needs:
Sensi Skin Gel for sensitive skin or post-procedure calming.
Apply Soothing Mask
Apply a Sensitive Peel-Off Mask to reduce any irritation or redness.
Leave on for 15 minutes, then remove gently.
Hydration & Recovery Apply a Sensitive Cream to hydrate and support skin recovery.
Sun Protection Finish with Anti-Aging Cream SPF 30 to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays.
The skin is more vulnerable to sunlight following a peel. Offer the Anti-Aging SPF 30 Cream (1.7 oz) for at-home use.
Ongoing Treatment Plan
Repeat this treatment once a week for 6 to 8 weeks, based on client response and recovery.
Recommend and sell the Mandelic 10% Exfoliant and Sensi Skin Gel for home care to maintain results between sessions.
