Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA)

The trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is a very effective peeling for intermediate and deeper peels indicated for the correction of the wrinkles, superficial acne scars and pigmentation problems (melasma). This acid can cause an abundant desquamation it should only be used by professionals. Choose TCA for longer lasting results on mild to moderate photoaging, acne, hyperpigmentation issues, superficial acne scarring.

Indications

Photo damaged skin ( wrinkle, dull, hyperpigmented skin), Peel is ideal for clients that have undergone to previous peel procedure with aplha & beta hidroxy acids and are looking for a peel that with cause sheeding of the skin.

How to Use

Client must be prepped previously with alpha hidroxy acid peels. The day of the TCA Peel, the skin is degreased thoroughly with our Pre-Peel Solution using a alcohol pad. The TCA solution is applied with 2x2 gauze pads, cotton balls, or Q-tips. (2x2 gauze pads are preferred). Apply solution in a pre-determined sequential manner starting at the forehead, moving around to the temples, cheeks, chin, and nose. Stinging sensation is normal. Jessner peel are applied in coats but we recommend one coat always the first session. Professional should observe level of frosting but also the duration of this reaction before proceeding. If applying several layers (medical level), wait 3 minutes between layers. Once desired frosting is achieved, our Cryogenic Peel Off mask or cool water compresses may be used to relieve the client if necessary. Unlike glycolic peels, neutralizar nor water does not neutralize TCA peels, it only helps comfort the patient. After stinging subsides. Apply thin layer of petrolatum ointment and give client our Hydra cream with hyaluronic acid as well as our Hydra (hyaluronic acid) Serum. Make sute client uses sunblock at all times.
